A MESSAGE ABOUT COFFEE HOUR

The coffee hour volunteer list is almost complete. A huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered to make coffee and tea after the services. This time affords us an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and to check in with each other. There are a few dates in April and August that need volunteers. The dates are: April 20 & 27 and August 10,17,24,31. In the summer months we serve juice only and meet each other out on the lawn. Would you kindly consider helping on any of those times. You can call Carol Wells-Gordon at 705-731-0455 to volunteer.

With appreciation, Carol

Join Moderator Carmen Lansdowne

On January 13, 2025, 6:00‒8:00 p.m. ET, join Moderator Carmen Lansdowne for a bilingual New Year's address and town hall centered around the theme of visions and dreams. Featuring the Growth team leadership, new church plant leads, and a pastoral welcome to the new and Centennial year, this session will serve as a national introduction to growth and emerging communities of faith. A half-hour Q&A will conclude the evening. Dream on. Share in the Vision. Let's start this new year with hope and inspiration! Register on CHURCHx: English or French.

UCW Bobcaygeon

Several women met on Thursday, November 21st to discuss the future of the “United Church Women” (UCW) Bobcaygeon group. There were some from the Faith, Hope and Love unit, Harmony unit, as well as Providence.

We all felt that there is still a need and desire to continue the good work of the women at Trinity.

High on the list of continuance would be fellowship. Once a month, every third Thursday at 2:00pm we will meet in the Fellowship Room. We will enjoy social time together with the occasional speaker, craft, game or potluck luncheon.

Some past cherished programs were very much valued and would continue with the help of the church. Such as: Meat Pies, Christmas Bazaar, Funeral luncheons. Also, our financial support of the local Women’s Shelter, Bobcaygeon Food Bank, Hat and Mitten Tree; Camp Quin Mo Lac, to list a few.

The January 2025 meeting will be held on the 16th and we will reminisce about our past UCW. See you all there.

Kim Draper
